Bentley SUV might make an appearance at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show
Rumors of a new SUV from Bentley have been doing rounds for quite some time now. And till the time Bentley comes out with some sort of official information regarding the project, we expect to see new bits of information surfacing online at regular intervals.
While the only official piece of information so far has been from Christophe Georges, Bentley Motors president and COO who stated, “We are exploring the potential, but the vehicle has not been approved,”, the folks over at AutoWeek are suggesting that Bentley might unveil a concept version of the new SUV as soon as Geneva this March.
As for the details, well they are scarce at the moment. But you can be sure it is based on the Audi Q7′s platform and will have the same sort of off-road capability. It will also get same W12 engine as the Continental – to have a distinguishing feature over the competition – and will probably get the new V8 as well when it’s set for market launch.
