Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Edition Merveilleux unveiled

Dated [ Thursday, December 15th, 2011 ] and filed under [ Bugatti ]

  • Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Edition Merveilleux unveiled

The Bugatti Veyron has just received a new special edition in a move that has become a synonym with the model’s name. Only one example of the car, dubbed the Edition Merveilleux, will be built, and it was recently delivered to its buyer in China, a 40-year old man known only as “Simon”.

Now you might be wondering how do we know that the buyer is 40, and that his name is Simon? Because Bugatti has released this video congratulating Simon and wishing him a happy 40th birthday. So much for flashy birthday presents. Additional information is limited, but the model features a carbon fiber exterior, black alloy wheels and bright blue interior. Inside, there’s blue leather seats with black “Super Sport” logos on the headrests.

A quick look at the Super Sport before getting to the video, the super car is capable of generating 1,200 hp and a peak torque of 1,500 Nm. Now, if the person behind the wheel puts all that power to use, the speedometer can climb up to 415 km/h and this is the electronically limited top speed, with a Bugatti-unrestricted model managing to record a top speed of 430 km/h, this becoming the fastest production car in the world.

So now that you have had your basics cleared (or refreshed), go ahead and check out the video below :
