Ferrari FF to be launched in India on October 31st, 2011

  • Ferrari FF to be launched in India on October 31st, 2011

The Ferrari FF is a real life production example of the combination of supercar meets grand tourer and coming October 31st, the Italian prancing horse will be launching the Ferrari FF in India at the Ferrari showroom at Janpath, New Delhi. Also expected to make it to the event are Ferrari’s Formula1 stars promoting Ferrari’s latest supercar in India.

Competing with the Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide, the FF is powered by a 6262 cc, V12 engine which produces a humble 660 BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 683 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, with power going to all four wheels. In true Gran Turismo style, the Ferrari FF will seat four adults, just like the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide. But what separates the Ferrari FF from the Rapide or the Panamera is the brute power and torque that the Ferrari FF’s V12 engine pumps out.

It is yet unclear how many Ferrari FFs will be available in India as reports say the the whole production until 2012 has already been sold out. If Ferrari has already earmarked some FFs to India that will not be a surprise considering the importance of emerging markets such as India to the Italian carmaker. Expect the Ferrari FF to be priced around Rs. 3.5 crore or higher.

For now check out the images of the Ferrari FF below followed by the complete technical specifications of the FF :
