2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept coming to 2012 Detroit Auto Show
Honda will be previewing the 2013 Honda Accord Concept at the upcoming 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The concept will “reveal the styling direction” of the 2013 Accord which will be in its ninth generation with the latest upgrade and is expected to go on sale by the end of 2012.
“The Accord Coupe Concept will convey the dynamic and aggressive profile of the ninth-generation 2013 Honda Accord set to go on sale in the fall of 2012,” Honda said in a short press statement.
Reports indicate that the 2013 Accord will be a little smaller than the current generation model and going by Honda Motor President Takanobu Ito’s words at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, the company also has plans to include a hybrid version of the new 2013 Accord by the time it goes into production next year. Further details are not yet available but we will keep you updated once Honda reveals the Accord Coupe Concept at the Detroit Motor Show.
Separately, the luxury arm of Honda, Acura, said it would introduce three brand-new vehicles at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. They will be the ILX Concept luxury compact sports sedan, a redesigned, second-generation RDX crossover SUV and a concept NSX super sports car.
