2013 New Honda Accord Revealed : Pictures and First Details
Honda yesterday revealed the first images of the new 2013 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe. The new Accord will go on sale later this year in the US market followed by a launch later this year or sometime early next year in India. Visual changes are few maintaining the look and feel of the previous generation, adding a new sculpted look and a few premium touches.
Both the Honda Accord Coupe and Sedan get LED running lamps, 10-spoke alloy wheels as standard. The Coupe in particular has recessed lighting in its square-type lower end, at the rear. The sedan has bigger tail lamps which extend into the trunk lid, with a built-in spoiler. While the sedan gets twin rounded exhaust tips, the Coupe has oval ones.
The new Honda Accord claims to have more interior room and trunk space while bringing down its exterior dimensions down thanks to clever packaging. While Honda has made no official claims on the new car’s engine range, we expect it to be carried over from the current model, with minor economy-minded tweaks.
Further details are still unknown and will be revealed close to the launch of the new Accord in the US. We will keep you updated once the Accord hits the American Market.
