Mercedes Benz R-Class gets a diesel variant R350 CDI at a price tag of Rs. 58.9 lakh

Mercedes Benz India has updated the R-Class MPV lineup in India with the addition of a new R350 CDI diesel 4MATIC variant of the R-Class priced at Rs. 58.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Combining sedan like performance, all-wheel-drive SUV confidence and Mercedes-Benz safety in a luxurious package with first class seating for up to seven, the R-Class practically defies categorization while redefining practicality.

The diesel variant of the R-Class, the R350 CDI powered by a 2.9-litre V6 diesel engine now joins the existing R350 4MATIC petrol in the country. The engine comes mated to a 7G-TRONIC with 4WD transmission and returns a mileage of 11.25kmpl.

The vehicle can accommodate seven adults with luggage compartment capable of carrying between 633 and 2385 litres. There is also new sporty aluminum trim that offers electric sunroof, 18-inch alloy-wheels, bit of chrome, LED running lights along with air suspension system in the rear to aid comfort and improve driving dynamics. The luggage compartment of the Mercedes Benz R-Class is capable of holding 633 to 2,385 litters.
