Nissan Micra Nismo Concept unveiled at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon
Japanese Automaker, Nissan has unveiled the Nissan Micra Nismo concept at the 2012 Tokyo Auto salon. The Tokyo Auto Salon is a haven for tuners which brings us to the Micra Nismo concept, a concept car developed by Nissan’s in-house tuning division, Nismo.
There’s no information yet on what’s under the bonnet, but a tuned version of the standard car’s 1.2-litre three-cylinder supercharged engine is a likely candidate. The Nissan Micra Nismo comes with a new aerodynamic package and a lowered suspension. The Micra Nismo’s body kit includes a re-designed front grille, a new front bumper, side skirts, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser, and a discreet roof spoiler. Its side mirrors have also been re-styled.
The Nismo Micra features a pearl white exterior finish with red highlights, which is is Nismo’s signature color combination. Inside, Nissan tells us (as we don’t get any photos) that Nismo has added purpose-designed sports seats and steering wheel.
