Official : All new 2013 Peugeot 208 supermini revealed
Peugeot has pulled the wraps of the all new Peugeot 208 which is set to replace the 207. Set to go on sale from next June, the new 208 comes at a time when the French carmaker is officially in the process of making an entry back into the world of automobiles. The new Peugeot 208 will be available in two distinct body styles: 3- and 5-door.
The Peugeot 208 has been made lighter and more efficient than its predecessor – with the curb weight of the entry-level variant coming in as low as 975 kg. Engine choices come from a pair of three-cylinder petrol engines producing 68bhp and 84bhp along with Peugeot’s e-HDi technology, with a stop/start system, on nearly all diesel variants.
All 208s, except at the very bottom of the option list, will come with a touchscreen system dubbed ‘Mobility Portal’, that takes care of the sat nav, stereo, communications and such. And all will come with 3G and downloadable apps as standard.
