Skoda Auto has revealed pictures of the 2013 Skoda Rapid Sport, a new performance-oriented concept, which could go on into production as the RS variant of the current Skoda Rapid. The Rapid Sport variant gets a ton of visual upgrades on the exterior transforming it from an average sedan to a performance oriented sports sedan. Skoda Auto India has launched its new sedan, the 2011 Skoda Rapid, which is based on the Volkswagen Vento’s  platform. The base petrol variant of the Skoda Rapid sedan has been priced at Rs. 6.75 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 9.19 lakh for the top of the line diesel variant. Skoda Citigo, a small car based on the Volkswagen Up platform was expected to hit Indian streets after its initial unveiling at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo.
