Tata Aria now available with discounts of upto Rs. 2 lakh as sales plunge
Tata Motors is now offering massive discounts of upto Rs. 2 lakh on the Tata Aria crossover SUV taking down the base variant of the Aria 4×2 to a price tag of Rs. 9.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Termed the Tata Aria anniversary sale, this move by Tata Motors is to pick up sales of the Aria which have hit a low mainly after the launch of Mahindra’s killer XUV500.
The Tata Aria reported it’s lowest monthly sales figures in November at just 140 units. In fact sales of the Aria had picked up quite a bit with the introduction of the 4×2 variant, but the competitively priced Mahindra XUV500 is eating up into the Aria’s sales. This discounted price includes a flat cash discount of Rs. 1.6 lakh along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 40 thousand.
The Tata Aria is powered by a 2.2 litre, DiCOR CRDi Diesel Engine with dual mass flywheel under its hood capable of delivering maximum power of 140 PS and maximum torque of 320 Nm through a new Mark II gearbox.
