2012 new Toyota Fortuner facelift launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 19.99 lakh
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd. has launched the new 2012 Toyota Fortuner in India at a price tag of Rs. 19.99 lakh for the base variant. The new 2012 Fortuner’s facelift comes as a mid career product update and and isn’t a full model change. In line up with the facelift comes new headlamps, grille, bumper design and fog lamps.
The car’s interiors also get a mild spruce up to look more nattier while retaining the interior build quality that Toyota has always offered. Interiors now come with a black wood finish and the new 2012 Toyota Fortuner also sports a 2DIN six-inch touchscreen system with DVD, AUX, USB and Bluetooth compatibility.
The new Fortuner comes with 2WD 5-speed manual transmission and 2WD 4-speed automatic transmission options. It is also available with a 3.0-litre D-4D diesel engine in 4WD and 2WD. As for pricing, the new 2012 Fortuner4X2 manual will sell for Rs. 19.99 lakh, the Fortuner 4X2 Automatic for Rs. 20.69 lakh and the Fortuner 4X4 manual for Rs. 20.99 lakh.

Another launch by Toyota at the ongoing Auto Expo was the new 2012 Land Cruiser V8. The new 2012 Land Cruiser gets new interiors and exterior design with a flatter grille, new tail lamps and other changes. The engine is a new 4.5 Liter V8 turbo diesel unit churning out peak power of 280 Bhp and a mammoth 650 Nm of peak torque. The Land Cruiser is priced between Rs. 87.55-89.55 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi and is available for booking at Toyota dealers across India.
