Maruti Suzuki Cervo gets Indian launch in July 2012

India’s largest automobile manufacturer, Maruti, will be launching it’s new small car, Maruti Suzuki Cervo in India in the month of July 2012. The new Maruti Cervo, an A-Segment hatchback, is a bundle of elegant features, cheap pricing and an all new sporty look. Expect the new Maruti Cervo to be placed somewhere in between the Maruti Alto and A-Star.

Even though the Maruti Cervo is a family car, it carries the charm to entice the younger breed of car owners as well. Features on board the Maruti Cervo include power steering, air conditioner and the higher variant of the Cervo will also sport additional features like fog lights, power windows and a central locking system. Depending on the launch price of the Cervo, the basic variant may or may not feature colored bumpers and body colored door handles but expect the higher end variants to sport these features.

Update : Maruti has confirmed that it has no immediate plans of launching this car in India

The exterior body line of the Maruti Cervo is well designed sporting neat and classy lines and cuts. Up front is an impressive lineup of an arching roof-line and sporty headlamps and fog lamps. On the rear-end of the Maruti Cervo is a set of rather large tail-lamps, which frankly speaking don’t quite seem to go with the overall design of the Cervo.

The Maruti Cervo will be powered by a 658cc MPFi Petrol engine capable of delivering a maximum power of about 54 BHP @ 6500 rpm and maximum torque of about 64 Nm @ 3500 rpm. A notable feature of the new Cervo worth looking out for is its high fuel efficiency of 17 kmpl in the city and 21 kmpl on the highway.

The expected price for the Maruti Cervo is in the range of Rs. 2.25 – 3.5 lakh. However Maruti might also lower the price tag for the base variant a little bit so as to attract potential Nano customers.

I asked many times to “Maruti Suzuki India Limited” regarding CERVO CAR, there official said “there is no official information about CERVO”, and we fool public waiting for CERVO from last 1.5 – 2 years, and Now we have to think about the news of new product carefully by “Maruti Suzuki India Limited”. I think Maruti Suzuki making fool to us to fluctuate current market of NANO and present news of new 800cc car for Hyundai H800.

Its Small range Car. With the Specification Mentioned from various sources it will definitely would be a competitor with Tata Nano.
Also from the model look wise It has a brilliant and awesome look and conclusion from various sources its fluctuating. If it would be a competitor for nano then the Price would be definitely similar to nano.But After Looking to its Advanced Features like Power Strg, Automatic Transmission System. P. Windows. & Central Locking. Price range would be around Rs.2.02L to Rs. 3.39L.
