Volkswagen offering discounts of upto Rs. 70,000 on the Vento and Polo
Volkswagen India in order to make good of the huge sales of cars in India during the festive season of Diwali is offering huge discounts on its best selling cars in India : the Volkswagen Vento and Polo. Both the vehicles recently received facelifts for their respective top-end variants. The new features that were added to the Volkswagen Vento Highline and Polo Highline are as follows :

Closely following the update to the top-end variants is a special discount of Rs. 55,000/- on its hatchback Polo and a discount of Rs. 70,000/- on its sedan Vento for all bookings prior to 25th September. Volkswagen is also offering a special corporate discount to pick up boost sales from its corporate clients and is also offering an attractive interest rate of 5.99 percent to further sweeten the deal.
Both the Polo and Vento both come with petrol and diesel options. The Volkswagen Vento comes with a 1.6 Liter, 4 cylinder petrol engine and a 1.6 Liter TDI turbo diesel engine with the petrol variant mated to a five speed manual tranny and a 6 speed automatic gearbox, while the diesel Variant gets the 5 speed manual gearbox from the Polo. Powering the Volkswagen Polo is a 1.2 Liter, 3 cylinder petrol engine and a 1.2 Liter, 3 cylinder TDI turbo diesel engine.
The Volkswagen Vento Highline diesel is currently priced at Rs. 9.89 lakh while the Volkswagen Polo Highline diesel is priced at Rs. 6.94 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
